Eran Stern looks at using ShapeShifter for After Effects, the 3D plugin from Mettle for creating 3D objects quickly and easily in After Effects by demonstrating a project from start to finish. Check out the complete tutorial for Eran Stern’s ShapeShifter 3D Workflow for After Effects here.

ShapeShifter has some great features such as the Generator section of the plugin that basically works like a tiny MoGraph component would in Cinema 4D, one of the most fantastic things of ShapeShifter is that it is FAST… not just fast in the process of creating 3D objects, but fast in its interactivity… it can push a crap-load of stuff impressively in 3D space using Mettle’s 3DNAE engine. 3DNAE represents Mettle’s proprietary hardware accelerated 3D engine using industry leading openCL and openGL as well as proprietary algorithms to achieve unprecdented effects in Adobe After Effects.
