Stuffmatic has created a new Addon for Blender which allows you to create a kaleidoscope like image. Called TileCam, you are able to adjust the Blender camera based on input parameters, which, in the end will render a tileable image.

I’ve spent some time lately thinking about tilings, seamlessly repeatable images and the cool stuff you can make with them. The latest result of this nerdery is a little Blender add-on called Tilecam, which makes it easy to create seamlessly tileable 3D images

TileCam adds controls to the Properties Editor in Blender, under the Camera Tab when the Camera is selected. TileCam uses the horizontal resolution to align the camera and by changing the horizontal and vertical values, you are able to create various types of patterns. Check out the post for the TileCam Addon for Blender over at Stuffmatic here, and check out the TileCam user Guide and download here.
