Mamoworld’s Mathias Möhl shows how to create a Tetris game on a wall using mocha for the tracking of the shot as well as some of Mamoworld’s tools in After Effects to help along the workflow.

In this After Effects video tutorial, we turn the wall of a bathroom into a huge tetris game, For this funny effect, we use mocha to track the wall and Beat Assistant, KeyTweak and iExpressions to create and animate the Tetris bricks inside After Effects

Mathias shows how to use Mocha for tracking and shows how you are able improve the track using the adjust track module in Mocha, and then imports the tracking data into after effects using MamoWorld’s MochaImport+.

Using iExpressions to create the initial movement, then switching to MamoWorld’s Beat Assistant to snap the animation to the beat of the music and Matias also uses keytweek to modify lots of keyframes in After Effects easily. This is a good example of how your workflow in After Effects can change drastically by using tiny specific tools and scripts.
