George Ahlmeyer takes a look at using the exchange plugins for Cinema 4D and After Effects to create a jumbotron screen scene showing some tips for workflow using After Effects and Cinema 4D together.

Cinema 4d has the ability to generate a compositing file containing all passes that make up the specific image as well as sending all 3D information for a seamless composite

George walks through the process of using the Cinema 4D Exchange Plug-in to Make an Editable Football Highlight Graphic. The CINEMA 4D export generates a .c4d file containing 3D layers, cameras, lights, solids, nulls and footage with support for nested compositions.

All major layer attributes including animations (rotation, position, parameter, anchor points, POI, etc.), expressions, layer parenting, layer locking and layer visibility are retained.
