Forming Type With an Animated Vortex Using Cinema 4D’s MoGraph

By April 16, 2013No Comments

Ratemyfuneral’s Rory Martin produces a little piece in Cinema 4D using the MoGraph Module to create a swirling vortex of cubes that will eventually fly together to form some type, and then crash to the floor.

In this fantabulous tutorial we look at using Mograph to make a ton of cubes fly around in a vortex using spline effectors before flying together and making up some text then finally coming crashing to the floor

Rory uses Spline Effectors in Cinema 4D to facilitate the animation of the cubes, and provides some great tips as the project goes along. There is also an extended part to the tutorial where he shows how to render and composite the animation for the final effect. Check out the tutorial for Creating a Swirling Vortex Reveal in Cinema 4D Using MoGraph here.
