Creating a Bass Shaking Effect Vibrating the Camera to a Bass Line Using After Effects

By May 27, 2013No Comments

Evan Abrams takes a look at creating a Bass Vibration rhythm to a Camera in After Effects, using AE’s simple audio tools for visualizing the music’s bass line to use as a guide for the project.

Shake the camera with your thumping bass, even if you can’t separate the bass from the track

To have it appear the camera is vibrating to the bass, Evan uses the Magnify Effect and Fast Blur Effect in After Effects placed on an Adjustment Layer, adding expressions to the Magnify / Blur effects so they correlate to the Audio amplitude Filter, which will automate the bass vibration effect.
