New Characteristic Tool Makes Working With Animated Typefaces in After Effects a Breeze

By July 3, 2013No Comments

Michael Delaney drops Characteristic, his After Effects tool for working with animated typefaces, making it enormously quicker to string together words, sentences and phrases.

Characteristic simplifies and drastically quickens the process of working with animated typefaces

Recently AEScripts started offering the animated typefaces from Animography, who provide easy to use pre-animated type for motion graphics, which can be a real timesaver in a lot of instances.

In other instances they can be fairly cumbersome as you need to drag out each character individually from the project window to the composition timeline.

The After Effects Characteristic Script allows you to select the characters by simply typing out the words saving tons of time for large words and sentences.

Characteristic is on special, with an intro price until July 7, 2013, To find out more about Characteristic for After Effects, check the page at AEScripts here.
