BlurryPixel Software have released an update to Pixel Cloud, the plugin for After Effects that will allow you to do relighting right in After Effects, make 3D aware selections or displace point clouds in 3D space.

The adaptive preview speeds up the way you interact with the plugin in After Effects by deferring full rendering when you are interacting with the composition window

There are a few great additions to this release, adding adaptive previews which will greatly speed up UI interactions, by deferring full rendering updates when you are interacting with the comp window. Another addition are the newly added Pixel Cloud presets for the 3D applications Maya, Cinema 4D and creating Depth Mattes, as well as an added 3D Sampler preset.

Pixel Cloud 1.4 also has a few feature fixes, such as the position pass render mode which now outputs a proper position pass which can be converted to other elements, such as a depth matte into a position pass.
