I am pretty sure I would be lost and broke without AEscripts. To prove that point, AEScripts founder Lloyd Alvarez posts a new script for After Effects that will allow you to set a duration for your composition in the render queue by cleverly using the work area.

Using Queue Work Area you can easily set multiple work areas in the render queue and render them all at once. The script can conveniently be run with or within an interface so you can pair it with ft-Toolbar. Check out the After Effects Queue Work Area Script over at AEScripts here.
