Create Atmospheric Lighting in Blender

By June 27, 2014No Comments

Blender Guru’s Andrew Price has a look at tasking the Cycles render engine in Blender to create a scene with some atmospheric lighting effects. Andrew shows how you can get the effect of crepuscular rays (or God rays) in Blender using Blenders newly minted volumetric effects that will allow your to render out things like smoke, fire, fog, and haze.

When used in conjunction with light sources, Blender’s volumetric effects can make for some very nice atmospheric lighting effects. Check out the tutorial for creating Atmospheric Lighting in Blender here.
