Creating a Weighted Dynamics Effect in Ae Using Simple Effects

By October 16, 2014No Comments

Matt Jylkka, the Mt. Mograph monster shows how to put together what he calls weighted dynamics effect in Ae. Matt strings together a few standard effects in Ae to creat an interesting and automated look to animations.

Using the echo effect along side a matte choker effect, Matt is able to create a weighted dynamics effect that can create an automated squash and stretch effect that is all based on the objects animation. Matt also walks through how to give the effect a cel shaded look for a nice clean solution that can add easy secondary motion to your work.
