3DQuakers, makers of Forester for Softimage, a plugin that procedurally creates natural elements such as trees, grass and flowers, have been teasing a Cinema 4D version for the last several months.
Recently the latest examples may indicate that Forester4D might be close to a release sometime soon.
Through some posted example videos, 3DQuakers have hinted that Forester4D will have even more tree customization and options in forest creation that its Softimage counterpart. The XSI version of Forester allowed you to modify tree topology, wind, growth, automatically create UVs and materials.
However at the moment, Forester4D remains in development without a specific release date. Check out 3DQuakers for more information on the Forester plugin and its capabilities.
