CamSphere Creates Full Dome Immersive Content in After Effects

The Society for Arts and Technology plans to launch version 2 for its CamSphere, the 3D Authoring template for After Effects. CamSphere is a tool for creating immersive content inside After Effect’s 3D space for dome or VR head mounted displays.

CamSphere is a tool for creating immersive content developed by the SAT’s research department.

The template and tools were developed by the SAT’s research department, and offers a way to make animations in equidistant circular format. CamSphere does this with a set of 5 pre-programmed cameras for Front, Right, Back, Left and Top. These cameras are then assembled in one Master Dome.

CamSphere isn’t quite released yet, this is just a preview. However the tool will be available with an official launch May 22, 2015. Check out the CamSphere page to learn more about how to make immersive full dome content in After Effects.
