Greg Hendrix Offers a Quick Intro to Photoshop Scripting Showing How to Export Layers.

Adobe Photoshop isn’t often thought of when someone mentions pipeline tools. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t one. If you are looking for resources on integrating PS into a pipeline, pickings are rather slim. Thanks to Greg Hendrix, there is a valuable resource that offers guidance in that arena. Rigging Dojo and Hendrix have teamed up to provide an “intro to Photoshop Scripting” course.

Hendrix has also released two excerpts from that course, one that gives an overview for the scripting process in Photoshop, and the other that shows how you can script an export routine that will spit out .png files.

The course covers over 3.5 hours of content showing you ways that you can control the pipeline of how Photoshop files are built, stored and edited for your team. Plus, hotkeys, custom menus, and other productivity enhancements.
