How to Quickly Create a Cloning Effect in Blender

By September 17, 2019No Comments

CGMatter uses Blender’s compositing nodes to create a cloning effect quickly.

Blender, as well as being a 3D package, also has a capable compositor built right in. In this new tutorial from CGMatter, you can learn how to use Blender’s compositing nodes along with stabilization techniques to create a cloning effect.

The tutorial looks into working with stabilized footage to quickly create the cloning effect and then puts the camera movement back into the shot for a more realistic look. CGMatter mentions that the advanced method (that uses footage from an already moving camera) is coming soon!
