Adobe After Effects has a handy way to take a snapshot of a current frame. It’s the little camera icon that comes complete with a retro SLR camera sound. The snapshot button doesn’t save the image; rather, it lets you refer back to it instantly. While most of us know about the snapshot button, few know that you can use it to take multiple snapshots.

Joe Lawrence (The You and Me Academy) shows how you can take up to four different snapshots using the button, and refer back to each at any time. The trick is to use some of the F-keys on the keyboard in conjunction with the snapshot button.
