The Maya Guy looks at using Bifrost Fields to create crazy particle effects in Maya.
The release of Maya 2020.4 added a new Field system to Bifrost (Bifrost 2.2). Now we have user-defined implicit 3D scalar and vector fields that have infinite resolution.
The new field system also has a very low memory overhead. Filed nodes in Bifrsot can act as dynamic influences on cloth, aero simulations, and particles.
