Check Out the New Depth Filtering in Nomad Sculpt

SouthernGFX shows how depth filtering in Nomad lets you paint on specific parts of a model.

A recent update to the tablet sculpting app Nomad sees the ability to do depth filtering. Check out this walkthrough from Glen Southern that shows how it works and how you can use it in your painting and sculpting workflows.

“Cavity masking is common in a lot of programs and it’s a super useful way to add details to a sculpt.” Southern mentions. Depth filtering is the tool that facilitates that allowing you to paint on the high or low parts of a model or the cavities.

“It’s super useful for scales and rocks and anything with surface detail.”

Nomad Sculpt is a pretty handy painting and sculpting application for mobile devices that features an extensive toolset and an intuitive UI.
