How to Make a Level of Detail Setup With Bifrost in Maya

CGside shows how to create a Level of Detail (LOD) graph plus a custom marking menu.

Inspired by a recent Autodesk presentation by Sean Willis, CGside decided to try a LOD or level of detail setup using Bifrost in Maya. This new tutorial shows how to do that and makes a custom marking menu in Maya to easily swap out the various resolutions for objects.

In the example, CGside shows how to set up a scene using trees, which can always benefit from LODs.
