Helge Mathee writes: As the last update for 2011, I am presenting the new model instancing technology, which abstracts the binding between the actual instance down to an alembic file + identifier. That way the used instance source can be changed after export. The instances are all constructed with proper timeshifting (useful for crowd rendering) procedurally inside the Arnold DSO.
