The Foundry quietly updated their website recently, and also have released Mari for Lunix systems. Going for $900.00 however according to the Mari page, The Foundry will shortly be changing how MARI is licensed. During this transition period MARI 1.0 customers who have paid in full are being issued with temporary licences which expire on 1 November 2010. Permanent licences for MARI 1.1 will be issued on 1 October 2010… So, not sure what is going on there. Also according to the Mari site, the Windows version of Mari will be available later this year.

We’re just swapping over from one license system to another. We will release the 1.1 version with the new system and provide all existing customers with a new license under this scheme. It should’nt really cause any problems, but we thought it best to let people know early.
