Lars Jandel’s Script for After Effects Lets You Shift Layers, In/Out Points Easily.

Shift in Time is a new After Effects script by Lars Jandel that sets its sights on a better solution for managing layers in the timeline. As the name would suggest Shift In Time lets you quickly shift layers, set in and out points and display and select your timeline layers.

You can choose to launch the script as a floating dialog, via labels, or as a dockable pallet. Jandel’s handy Ae tool has a unique UI, made for the people who spend the most time in After Effects. The compact interface comes packed with features.

If you sometimes feel that the After Effects has a burgeoning third-party tool ecosystem that seems mired in discord, you are not alone.
