Alex Kunchevsky shares techniques he used to animate a falling leaf in Procreate 5.

The highly anticipated Procreate 5 is available to all. The tablet painting and drawing app added new animation features, allowing artists to create frame-by-frame animation using all the familiar Procreate tools.

Showing off some techniques to animate in Procreate 5 is Illustrator Alex Kunchevsky, who is currently working out of Saint Petersburg. Kunchevsky walks through how he created a simple falling leaf animation. It’s interesting to see how everything comes together to create great-looking animations using a tablet.
