Nancy from Mettle demonstrates how to create the entire title sequence for the amazing Spider-Man entirely in After Effects using Mettle’s ShapeShifter AE, using After Effects shape layers and layer masks to recreate the Spider-Man logo in 3D.

ShapeShifter has some great features such as the Generator section of the plugin that basically works like a tiny MoGraph component would in Cinema 4D, one of the most fantastic things of ShapeShifter is that it is FAST… not just fast in the process of creating 3D objects, but fast in its interactivity… it can push a crap-load of stuff impressively in 3D space using Mettle’s 3DNAE engine. 3DNAE represents Mettle’s proprietary hardware accelerated 3D engine using industry leading openCL and openGL as well as proprietary algorithms to achieve unprecdented effects in Adobe After Effects.
