New Tool lets you Import ZBrush PolyPaint Into Maya, No UV’s Needed

Ever wanted an easy way to import Zbrush PolyPaint into Maya? Well, now you are in luck.

Character Artist Janos Hunyadi shares a free tool he created in the ZBrush PolyPaint Importer for Maya. As the name suggest, the tool will allow you to import Zbrush PolyPaint into Maya, without having a need for UV’s at all. Now with a simple install, you can easily import Zbrush PolyPaint into Maya.

The ZBrush PolyPaint Importer for Maya is a plugin and a script that currently the supports Autodesk Maya 2015 on the Mac currently. Janos notes that if there is a call for it, he can compile a windows version according to demand.
