New Text2Spreadsheet Lets You Export and Edit Ae Text in a Spreadsheet

Mamoworld recently released another workflow tool for After Effects, that assists in editing large blocks of type from Ae. If your Ae project is text heavy containing bits and pieces in nested preComps, it can be quite tedious to sift through all the places the text exists to find and make the necessary edits. Even more tedious is creating x-amount of versions for different languages, etc. from the same project.

Perfect for text translation, client review and other text processing tasks

Ae doesn’t treat text elements as assets, so they can’t be searched out and found in the Project Window. This is where MamoWorld’s Text2Spreadsheet comes in. Text2Spreadsheet will allow you to export all the text from your after effects project, and import and edit it in any spreadsheet editor. You can then bring the modification back into After Effects using the same Text2Spreadsheet tool.

This can easily save you a ton of time. You are able to modify Ae text easily with applications like Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers or Open Office. You can easily bring the changes back into  your After Effects project in a single click.
