Suicycle is a lively, multi-textured animated short created specifically for the 2007 DesignPolitics exhibition in Santiago, Chile: a forum for “visual ideologies” comprised of the best issue-driven design work from around the globe.
With a darkly comic style at odds with the subject matter, Suicycle—intended to play as a never-ending loop—allowed Curiosity to explore new animation techniques and subject matter beyond that of client work.
In addition to becoming a part of the DesignPolitics showcase, Suicycle also received a 2007 Award of Excellence at the CommArts 48th Annual Illustration Exhibition.
