Recently, Francis Vega updated his PoseMAN Pose Manager tool for Maya to version 1.3.3. Francis is also updating parts of the script to work in Maya 2011 with new behaviour of the shelfLayout.
Some new features include:

create and open characters at/from any path like regular software. no more charcters attached at maya projecst directory. easy to share characters and poses 🙂

drag and drop poses to reorder

drag and drop poses to trash icon to delete (like shelf)
-
delete sections and poses are renamed to name.deleted
what makes me a little bit sad is this is made in mel and not in python…
