There have been some updates lately with the Ramen Project – if you remember, Ramen is an open source node based compositor being developed on Linux (ubuntu 8.10) and Mac OSX by Esteban Tovagliari. Recently, over at the development blog, Ramen 0.6.1 released, with source code, as well as an early version of Ramen running on 64 bit Windows, and lastly – a 64 bit MAC OS binary, which represents for the first time Ramen as truly multi-platform -At least 64 bits multiplatform. Pretty impressive for one fellow I would say.
Ramen actually has become a closed source program from what I’ve heard. Still, exciting to see what can come from the oesource community
