A nice tutorial set up by Claude Kongs which shows how to give your architectural renderings a more filmic look using the standard After Effects toolset including adding a chromatic aberration, motion blur, depth of field, lens distortion and film grain.

3D Arch-renderings Meet The “Film Look” from Claude Kongs on Vimeo.

“Quick tutorial about how to enhance 3D architectural renderings by applying the so called “film look” in After Effects CS5 without the use of any plugins. For this simple setup I applied several effects to my neutral Cinema 4D rendering in post: chromatic aberration, motion blur, depth of field, lens distortion, vignette, curves, vibrance, glow & film grain.”
