TopoGun 2 Sneak preview using the new Morpher

Cristi Prefac returns with yet another teaser displaying the new and fantastic features of the (hopefully soon to release) TopoGun 2, where Cristi looks at the Morpher which allows you to modify the reference mesh with modifications that are sent back to the scene geometry.

TopoGun is a stand alone topology resurfacing and map baking application. With TopoGun, which is a stand alone application, you can import your high poly sculpt from something like zBrush, or mudbox, and quickly retopologize accurately with simple tools, and a clean interface.

We take a look at the Morpher, a TopoGun 2.00 extension that helps you modify the reference mesh and have the modifications bounced back to the scene geometry. This way you can basically review the highpoly sculpting process after the lowpoly retopologized version was created.

Morpher can also be used for creating lowpoly versions of digitally sculpted blendshapes or for posing lowpoly geometries like their corresponding highpoly references.

The video was recorded and narrated by Cristi Prefac. The digital sculptures shown in the video were created and shared by Andrei Bradu (andreibradu.carbonmade.com) and by Sorin Lupu (sorinlupu.com).
