Ian Ball writes: I’ve had a few requests from people wanting to know how I go about making my animations… so here’s the first part of a tutorial series that will hopefully reveal my process. I mostly use Blender. Blender is an open source program capable of much awesomeness. If you’re completely new to Blender then you may want to go through some other tutorials first as this one will assume you’ve at least had a dabble and can do a few basics.
