Bringing Inanimate Objects to Life in After Effects with Simple 2D Tracking

With a bit of basic 2D tracking in After Effects, plus some dynamic links and Expressions, Emilie Nicolas shows how to add life to a scene by creating and placing an animated face on it, that will bring the object to life.

Using a shot of a toilet paper roll, Emilie places a cartoon like face on it by way of tracking in After Effects, and shows how simple it is to track the parts of the scene for adding the animation. Emilie uses an edit in Premier and shows how you are able to link After Effects project files dynamically with the edit in Adobe Premier.
