In bouncing around from 3D package to 3D Package, sometimes people initially feel a little more comfortable using familiar commands, and it is to this end that Sergio Mucino posts a short look at how to use Modod’s Macros to re-create some of those commands.

This video explains how to re-create commands found in other 3D packages using Macros in Modo, and how to add them to the Modo UI

In recreating functionality from other 3D packages, Sergio shows how to build a Maya-like Mesh Extract function using Modo’s Macros, where there is no scripting involved.
