The CreatureStation posts an interesting look at the workflow methods between Modo and Mari, taking an existing asset from ZBrush into Modo for re-topology and UV Layout.

This video covers the general workflow between Modo 701 and MARI 2.0

From Modo, the asset is imported into Mari for paint, and sees the benefit of Mari’s layering system to generate the textures for the creature.

Textures are then pushed to Modo to make use of Modo’s skin shaders, and Mari is then predicated to iterate and refine the look for Modo.
