The modo Particle Modifier will allow you to apply the transformation values to a procedurally generated particle source, with the ability to animate the final elements.

Typically, the pMod expressions is intedned for use with the Particle Generator, Cloud, and Surface Particle items in modo, however, as Eric shows here, can also be leveraged to work with the modo replicators.
