Creating a Spiral Galaxy in After Effects with Trapcode Form

By September 20, 2013No Comments

CreativeDojo’s Vinhson Nguyen uses TrapCode Form and an OBJ model to create a spiral galaxy in After Effects, building upon a previous tutorial with some new techniques.

in this tutorial, we’ll take a look at how to build the basic structures of a nebula or galaxy using Trapcode Form and an OBJ model

Vinhson shows how to set up the particles to achieve the basic shape of the galaxy, and how to add some variation to the project with some waves and floating dust. TrapCode Form lends itself well for this type of animation, providing a good base quickly rather than staring out with just particles. check out the Nebula Galaxy With Trapcode Form Tutorial here.
