By September 12, 2013No Comments

Shawn Sheehan focuses on creating the light-bike movement and trails from the old-school Tron video game demonstrating some automation in the scene to some degree, having the trails follow the bikes position and rotation, and flexibility in determining where the motion path and bikes will go.

In this tutorial, we will re-create the classic “Tron” light cycle game from 1982

Shawn walks through putting the scene together, and imparts a few simple tricks to easily build the bike’s light-walls and a simple expression technique for controlling the rotation and velocity of the light cycles. Check out the tutorial for How to Re-create the “Retro” Tron Lightcyle Game in After Effects here.
