Taking a look at some of the flexibility you can get by creating a batch script for Autodesk Maya, which will allow you to render multiple scenes or Maya scene files, Shaun Keenan shows how to render effectively from the command line.

In this quick tip, Shaun Keenan introduces you to Batch Script Generator, a great free script for creating batch render files for Maya

Using the free Batch Script Generator from Hayden Barnett, Shaun provides a quick overview for using the Batch Script Generator, its settings, and walks through the process of setting up and creating a batch script, and then finally using that batch script in Maya.

The Batch Script Generator gives you a simple user friendly interface to create batch files for rendering multiple Maya scenes, and is available for both Mac and Windows systems. All you really need to do is load your file and enter render data into the field available and press the Add Render Line button.
