Sean Frangella offers a good overview for using the Tracer Effector in C4D. Sean walks through creating a MoGraph animation with the tracer effector as well as some other C4D effectors such as the random effector and time. There is also a short walkthrough in finishing the animation in After Effects with some simple post production techniques.
