Creating and simulation destruction can be so much fun. It can also get pretty frustrating if you don’t have the right tools. If you are creating destruction effects in Maya, you have a few choices.

Maya has some native tools for handling destruction FX, and there are also some great third party plugins that will allow you to work more effectively. One of those tools is Fracture FX.
