Have you ever been amazed at the variety of life you see hiking in the mountains? Daytrippers was inspired by the strange and unusual folk seen enjoying the outdoor landscapes of Scotland, the UK, and Europe.
The film is influenced by classic animation of the 50s and 60s, brought up-to-date with the techniques of modern 2D and 3D digital motion graphics.
After Effects was used for the most part, utilising plugins DUIK Tools, Trapcode Particular and Mettle Freeform. Additional 3D elements were modelled and animated in Cinema 4D.
