Every year ACM SIGGRAPH puts together a short reel of the technical papers that were accepted into the program. The SIGGRAPH 2016 Papers program represents the forefront for disperses exciting and new academic work in computer graphics.
It is exciting to watch new and fledgling technologies that will likely make their way into to tools that artists use every day.
At the conference, paper authors provide brief overviews of their work in “Technical-Papers Fast Forward” then they present their complete papers in a series of 22-minute sessions that also include some time for interactive Q&A.
SIGGRAPH Papers are published as a special issue of ACM Transactions on Graphics. In addition to papers selected by the SIGGRAPH 2016 Technical Papers Jury, the conference presents papers that have been published in ACM Transactions on Graphics during the past year.
