Check Out This Free Blender Set Driven Key Add-on

Danny Mac shares a Blender Add-on that mimics Maya’s Set Driven Key feature.

With what seems to feel like tons of people trying out Blender 2.8, some inevitably are coming from other applications such as Maya. While the discourse on the switch often mentions only learning Blender’s methods, some users will miss how some of Maya’s features work. With that said, check out Danny Mac 3D’s Set Driven Key Add-on for Blender.

While Blender has Shape Keys, Danny Mac wanted to have a script that behaved something like Set Driven Key in Maya. The add-on is like Shape Keys, but it uses Blender’s Forms, creating a bunch of action constraints driven by forms that are hidden in the 3D viewport.
