When working with compositing, AOVs are something that you need to get a handle on. If you work with Redshift in Cinema 4D and have some issues with getting a dome light to AOVs and light groups, you may have had a problem. 

The Redshift Environment Material.

Check out this new tutorial from Liam Clisham, which shows how you can quickly get a dome light to pass through to your render passes and light groups. The key is to use the Redshift Environment Material for the light dome. There are a couple of tricks you need to know to get it working correctly, and Clisham covers some of those to get you on your way.
