How to Create an IK Solver in Bifrost Graph

Bjørn Blaabjerg Sørensen alks through ow to set up an IK solver with Bifrost nodes.

A new tutorial from CG Generalist Bjørn Blaabjerg Sørensen shows us how to solve for the angle of three joints in Maya using Bifrost Graph, essentially making an IK Solver from scratch. Bifrost offers a node-based playground for many of the “behind the scenes” stuff in Maya, allowing people to create things procedurally.

Sørensen uses a lot of the Math nodes in Bifrost to drive three joints in the scene. Download the example scene to check out the Bifrost IK Solver setup.
