Simon Verstraete shows how to create random stylized bevels on simple geometry in Houdini.

You’ve likely seen that carved bevel look so often found in stylized models. It’s pretty simple to reproduce, but Simon Houdini (Simon Verstraete) shows a tip that will allow you to create random bevels in Houdini.

“It is extremely useful for stylized models in games, it creates that typical edge damage look without any sculpting.” Verstraete says. The technique combines attribute noise and polyBevel in Houdini.
