Have a Look at the New Workflow Features in Cavalry

Cavalry 1.2 introduced many new updates and workflow enhancements like custom workspaces and a new focus mode.

Have a look at these two videos that show off some of the new workflow features and enhancements of the latest version of Cavalry. Ian Waters walks us through the new workspaces, focus mode, new options for Viewport and Rendering Quality, and more.

Cavalry 1.2 can add Notes to layers, Layer tools to edit Corner Rounding and Capsules, and now can support Environment Variables in render file paths.

“Some of the magic in Cavalry is possible due to a feature called the Index Context,” Waters says. In most situations, it’s OK to roll with it.” Occasionally, however, you may want to harness this power and set up more advanced projects. The video below covers index context to understand better the concept and how to ‘switch to manual.’
