Cavalry 2 Launches With Cameras, Pre-Comp Overrides and Components and More

Cavalry 2.0 brings many new features and improvements to the 2D animation and motion graphics powerhouse.

The Scene Group recently unveiled Cavalry 2.0, which brings many new features and improvements to the 2D animation and motion graphics powerhouse.

Cavalry 2.0 sees new cameras, pre-comp overrides, component shapes, tapered strikes, a new particle system, and background rendering.

Now that Cavalry supports cameras, it’s possible to create 2.5D environments with parallax, tracking, and zoom.

The new Pre-Comp Overrides allow users to promote attributes from a Composition’s layers for easy accessibility from the Pre-Comp, making it easy to add variation to several versions of the same Pre-Comp.
