Getting Started With Cinema 4D Lite in After Effects

Evan Abrams helps new users get orientated using the free Cinema 4D Lite that comes with After Effects.

Every copy of Adobe After Effects comes with a somewhat slimmed-down version of Maxon’s Cinema 4D. Cinema 4D Lite is simply part of the After Effects install for a while now, and the 3D render engine inside of After Effects.

This new series by Evan Abrams offers an overview of the world of using 3D in After Effects using C4D Lite. “If you’re using Adobe After Effects, you already have Cinema 4D lite installed on your machine.”

In the first in the series, Evan covers the essential functions, tools, and interface elements that we’ll use in more detail later.
